CAN ANIMALS HELP BUILD A CHARACTER?

Well answer to the present question is YES!! it's potential to achieve a personality through Animal Characteristics,Physical options,Animal Instincts and Body Postures. folks would possibly question however we have a tendency as to can we ought to begin this process? thus these days we gonna discuss however one will work on this facet furthermore. conjointly my this post is impressed from Konstantin Stanislavski on characterization development. Basically, animal's scientific discipline or temperament that is in synchronize together with your Character's Persona. This requires that you just re-create the animal's mechanics and duplicate its behavior to tell your Movements and Sensibilities. You can embody insects, reptiles,or birds. The intermingling of human and animal qualities creates a particular impression and may offer physical logic for inhabiting a task.Animals is perceived by humans as being Threatening,Friendly,Submissive,Powerful,Mysterious,Sneaky and then on. In fact, greatest actors of all time have ascertained animals to make a sensible or hypothetic character for themselves in an exceedingly moving-picture show. All are methodology Acting requirement to achieve characterization.

1) Marlon Brando did quite a research for his role by scrupulously observing Apes for his role in A Street Car Named Desire.

2) Lee J Cobb observed Elephants to create the role of Willy Loman in Death Of A Salesman,so that he could make feel 'the weight of world on his shoulders'.

3) Julia Roberts Watched Dogs in a Dog shelter who have been abused, physically harmed or used as an asset mercilessly, and hence she played the harassed woman as Laura in Sleeping With The Enemy.

4) Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura watched Pigeons for the role.

5) MC Sher played by Siddharth Chaturvedi in Gully Boy literally observed Lions characteristics, movement and posture to build his character.

6) Amruta Subhash played the role of Kusum Devi Yadav, in Sacred Games 2 by observing Chameleon as an animal trait to build this character.

And so the list is endless, well here is step by step process to start animal characteristics to attain character/role development.

1) Choose an animal that Fascinates you or builds curiosity. You can go to zoo many times and observe animal closely, feel them if they aren't that violent enough. In case if you cannot afford to go zoo for any reason, go on the Internet and search for videos or images that gives you a peculiar insight of the animal that you are looking for.

2) Study the Behavior of animal closely and observe its physical mechanics. How do they move, walk, jump, peck, smell the ground, swim, fly, skip?

4) Does the animal lurk, hover, stalk, scratch, threaten, attack, retreat or cower? Is the animal Sexual or Protective? How does the animal Sniff and smell everything?

5) Imitate the Sounds your animal makes:
Scratching,Pawing,Roaring,Purring,Whimpering,Screeching,Hooting,Mooing,Snorting,Chirping,Growling,Cooing, or Yawning.Does the animal slither on the ground, hop, spring, stalk, crawl, roll around in the dirt.or scratch itself on a fence post or tree trunk? What position does the animal sleep in?

6) Does it lap up water with its tongue, suck it in,or Slurp and Splash about? be observant of every particular detail!

7) Begin the exercise Standing up for a minute of two, even if your animal doesn't. Externally you imitate your animals movement as per your Memory using limbs, head, nose, torso, shoulders. After few minutes of getting the Animal Energy going, get down on all fours, even if that wouldn't be logical.

8) Move each and every Corresponding Body Part with contrast to animal that you have chosen. For example, hands & amp; feet, paws & hooves, arms as legs or wings, fingers and toes as claws or nails, as well as using your head, eyes, ears, nose, jaws and tongues as animal would.

9) You got to Think with Animal's Logic and you don't rush.Move carefully, Engage the Senses, and most importantly.Be aware of not hurting yourself as you do your movement in an acquainted manner.

10) Is the animal Curious, animals? By using animal sounds and Movements! After all these phase of exercise stand up again as an animal and not as a human being.Just imagine how will the animal Respond upon Human Physicality.

11) In this gradual process be Aware of the movements, character traits, attributes& and Transition more on being human through this exercise and Incorporate into your characterization.

12) When you feel that you have attained the exercise thoroughly Add a Monologue and Evaluate if the words come out exactly the way animal is being transitioned Rhythmically in your body!
